happy election day!

hope you all voted today! i consider it a great privilege to be able to choose our leaders and lawmakers, where in many other nations people don’t have this choice. it’s crazy to think that i as a chinese woman can vote, where only a number of decades ago neither chinese nor women had this freedom. i’ll be the first to admit that i am not super into politics, but i read up on what i need to to vote. we have to be good stewards of this right in leading our country and society in the right direction and also honoring those who fought hard so that we can exercise democracy.

if you aren’t registered to vote, i urge you to do so for the next elections!
